Suit Direct, a menswear fashion retailer, has recently secured a new flagship store at Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford, London. The five-year lease was advised by international real estate advisor Savills, representing parent company Baird Group.
Spanning across 1,731 sq. ft., this new store will serve as a model for future shop designs. With a focus on sustainability, the store boasts a flexible shop fit using high-quality materials. Amanda Argent, Retail Director, emphasized the creation of zoned areas within the store to cater to customers shopping for different occasions. The strategic merchandising and 360 mannequin displays aim to enhance the in-store experience and encourage customer dwell time.
Moreover, the store will introduce the new SS24 product ranges, including lifestyle pieces designed to seamlessly transition from work to weekend wear. From tailored blazers and workwear chinos to smart casual separates like knits, t-shirts, polos, and linen shirts, the store will showcase a fresh direction for the brand.
This development signals a significant milestone in Suit Direct’s expansion strategy, with plans to open up to 10 stores this year. Michael Lockhart, Director in National Retail at Savills, expressed excitement about advising the client on acquiring their flagship store in a prime location like Westfield Stratford. He believes this move aligns with the company’s ambitious plans for the future, given the shopping center’s reputation as one of the top destinations in Europe.
