Get Help with Accessing Oxford Academic Content

Accessing content on Oxford Academic is made easy through various methods, including institutional subscriptions, society memberships, and personal accounts. If you are facing any issues with access, here are some ways to get help:

Institutional Access:

Access to Oxford Academic content is often provided through institutional subscriptions. If you are a member of an institution with an active account, you can access content through:

IP Based Access:

Access is provided across an institutional network to a range of IP addresses. This authentication happens automatically, and you cannot sign out of an IP authenticated account.

Sign in through your institution:

To get remote access when outside your institution, use Shibboleth/Open Athens technology for single sign-on between your institution’s website and Oxford Academic. Follow these steps:

  1. Click “Sign in through your institution.”
  2. Select your institution from the list provided.
  3. Use the credentials provided by your institution to sign in.
  4. After successful sign-in, you will be redirected to Oxford Academic.

If your institution is not listed or you face issues signing in, contact your librarian or administrator for assistance.

Sign in with a Library Card:
