The Buford, Georgia, location of Boardwalk Storage has announced that it is partnering with Face Friends Foundation Inc., a nonprofit that offers families financial and food assistance. The self-storage facility will provide a storage unit at 2283 Buford Dam Road to the organization free of charge, according to a press release.
The space will allow the foundation to store essential supplies, materials and equipment for its various initiatives and events. Face Friends also offers after-school tutoring to students, clothing to those in need, and utility and emergency-service assistance.
“We are thrilled to partner with Face Friends Foundation and contribute to their noble cause,” said Dixie Zuger, property manager for Boardwalk Buford and vice president of operations and asset management for parent company Boardwalk Development Group (BDG). “By providing a free storage unit, we aim to assist the foundation in their efforts to make a difference in the lives of those in need. This partnership reflects our dedication to community engagement and supporting organizations that bring about positive change.”
BDG owns four self-storage facilities in Georgia and Tennessee. The Buford location offers traditional units as well as vehicle storage.
