Dutchman wins 80,000 euros as European Xbox champion FIFA 21

Dutch FIFA 21 player Levy Frederique has won the European Championship on Xbox.

The final in the FIFA Global Series European Play-Offs won him 100,000 dollars, converted more than 84,000 euros.

The championship lasted three days.

In that time, Frederique played eleven games, of which he lost two.

In the final he played against a Dane, Emil Klenke.

After two ninety minutes, there was still no winner, but in extra time the Dutchman scored the winning goal in the last minute.

In addition to $100,000, Frederique also wins a spot at the FIFA 21 World Cup. That tournament will take place this year from 6 to 8 August and has 32 participants.

Frederique said in an interview after the game that he was speechless.

“Unbelievably, my dream was to qualify for the World Cup,” he says.

“It didn’t even occur to me that I could win.”

The 27-year-old Dutchman plays for the Inter Milan esports team.

Frederique made the move to the team after previously playing for the esports team FC Groningen and Excelsior in the Netherlands.
