Todd Allen will be speaking at the upcoming Colloquium on the topic of “Net Zero Economy: What’s Up With That (and Nuclear)?” The discussion will focus on the complexities of transitioning to a net-zero economy, including the role of nuclear energy in developing new technologies and expanding their use. Allen, a professor at the University of Michigan and senior fellow at Third Way, will highlight the key considerations for successful transitions, such as Energy Technology Complexity, System-informed Decision-Making, and Community-appropriate Capacity Expansion. His talk will provide valuable insights into the strategies needed to achieve decarbonized systems.
