Benefit for St. Michael Special School Promises Fun Bowling at Fulton Alley in the Warehouse District
NEW ORLEANS (press release) – St. Michael Special School students will bowl alongside teams representing local businesses and school supporters in this year’s Spare Strike Saints Bowling fundraiser. The tournament will be hosted at the Fulton Alley in New Orleans’ Warehouse District on Saturday, January 18, 2020, from 12 to 5 p.m. Participants will enjoy food prepared by local restaurants as well as an open bar throughout the afternoon. All proceeds from this spirited event help cover the costs for St. Michael students to attend the city’s longest-running school for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Last year 48 teams participated. According to Spare Strike Saints organizer, Sam Mickal Solomon, “The event will be a fun-filled afternoon of eating and drinking, friendly competition, and fundraising. Join us in supporting a great event for an even better cause!”
Tickets and information about the event are available at www.smssbowl.givesmart.com or by calling 504-957-9698. Group and individual tickets are still available in limited quantities.
