Oddworld Inhabitants launched anew trailer for their action-adventure first-person shooter Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath, now coming to Nintendo Switch on January 23.
Initially released as an Xbox exclusive in 2005, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath follows a character known as the Stranger, who is tasked with capture wanted outlaws. However, it seems that Stranger has a secret of his own as he is in need of surgery if he hopes to stay alive. This makes him a bit desperate as he accepts a quest with a large bounty that leads him down a path that he probably should be on.
The game shift between third and first-person gameplay as players traverse the world and take out enemies. The game also features platforming sections and various puzzle type areas as they make their way through the level using the Stranger’s crossbow weapon.
The game has been ported to many platforms since it first released, it was even supposed to release on Wii U. However, that version of the game has been cancelled, yet, the Switch version now takes its place to bring the title to a Nintendo platform.
To show the Switch version of the game, the developers released a new trailer for players to get a little preview. The trailer also shows the perspective changes and environments that players will fight through during the game.
