PewDiePie has come for Soulja Boy after the rapper released a ‘knock off’ games console.

The gamer, who’s currently battling it out with Indian music label T-Series to keep his spot as YouTube’s most subscribed channel, came for Soulja Boy in the latest episode of his series Pew News.

Claiming that the Crank That hitmaker is attempting to emulate Sony’s consoles, the YouTuber – real name Felix Kjellberg – argued: ‘You’d think after Nintendo cracked down on Soulja Boy, he would stop.

‘But no! Soulja Boy is like, “Okay, well then – Sony. It’s Sony time, everybody!”‘

He sarcastically added: ‘Why should you pay $33 for a product when you can buy the exact same product, called SouljaGame and it’s $99.99? Why pay a third of the price when you can pay way more?’

It’s not the first time the 28-year-old’s faced backlash about his forays into the gaming world.

He recently made his first steps into the business, releasing three consoles – the SouljaGame Handheld, the Retro SouljaBoy Mini and SouljaGame FUZE.

The consoles, however, have attracted speculation over whether they could face legal action due to their resemblance to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Game Boy.

Soulja Boy responded to the backlash with a string of now-deleted homophobic tweets, as he wrote: ‘I’m not scared of Nintendo or none of u f***ot nerds making YouTube videos eat a dick and thanks for the free promo.’

He added: ‘If Nintendo was gon do something they would have the first day. My console not going anywhere everything I’m doing is 100% legit stay mad and I’ll keep getting richer.

‘Nintendo ain’t gon do SHIT.’

Since, his website has been taken down – and Felix was quick to notice.

‘Shaking and crying… souljaboys website is down,’ he mocked on Twitter.

Soulja Boy’s not the only figure to face comments from Felix, as the gamer previously blasted fellow YouTuber Lilly Singh after she spoke out about the lack of representation on Forbes’ highest paid YouTubers list.

The 29-year-old argued: ‘Adsense pays the same way. If people want to subscribe to you, they do it because they enjoy your videos, not because of your gender. That’s ridiculous.’

As if that wasn’t enough, he went on to call her a ‘crybaby’.

It was all a bit brutal.

However, despite the accusations, Soulja Boy has yet to respond.
