We always get a little teary when we hear that someone has left a gaming company after working there for many years and today is one of those occasions. SoulCalibur VIAnd Tekken 7 and the Pac-Man 99 Producer Motohiro Okubo announced his departure from Bandai Namco after 25 years.

In a message on social media, Okubo thanked fans for the support as well as Bandai Namco for the memories. Okubo will now work for a company located in Shibuya. At this time, the exact company has not been disclosed.

Although the Nintendo Switch doesn’t have a Tekken or SoulCalibur on it, players can still get access to Pac-Man 99 if they want to celebrate Okubo’s March of Bandai Namco for the last time. His departure followed the news last week that Yakuza and Super Monkey Ball Toshihori Nagoshi may leave Sega for NetEase.
