When Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions comes to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC later this year, it won’t just be a simple arcade soccer-game experience of nothing but interconnected, hot-blooded soccer matches. There’s an interesting “Episode New Hero” mode that sees you progressing through an original story as your own custom soccer player. You’ll encounter plenty of rival teams in this mode as you make your way to the prolific New Hero League. We’ve already seen a trailer showing off the members of the German Junior Youth team, but the latest trailer for the game takes things stateside as we get a look at the members of the American Junior Youth team.

There are only two characters featured in this short new look at the gorgeous action of Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions, but both of these fierce young competitors look like promising additions to the absolutely stacked roster of playable teams and characters. The first character from the American Junior Youth team in the trailer is Blake Martin, and we get to see him show off some beefy tackling abilities as well as an explosive kick. The other member of the American Junior Youth we get a look at is stylish defender Cheikh Azwan, sporting neon green globes, bright pink shoes, and a pair of red and blue dreadlocks.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions is set to come out later this year on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC.
